A Mansion !!! (Lucky!!)
It is call The Big Quiz House. Almost all the Mid Cal quiz competitors and moms and whatever else they decided to bring will be staying there ! ("Sweetie! remember to pack your toothbrush and little sister!!")
Oh. You should see the kitchen. I am sure everyone will be hanging here.
They do have rules though. Bedtime at 9:45 and lights out at 10 pm. They have to wake up at 6 in the morning. I feel bad for them.
On Friday night, after the competition is over, "The Big Quiz House" is hosting a big dinner for all Mid Cal competitors and their families, regardless of discipline.
It is all not just partying. They have a bunch of quiz practice sessions planned. I'll have to tell you more about that later.

ReplyDeleteJust one small correction. There are 21 Quiz competitors from Mid-Cal headed to Kentucky, and only 10 are staying at "The Big Quiz House". The others, for good reasons, have chosen to stay at hotels, primarily Embassy Suites (which can be booked at only $139 per night if you call directly to Emily Hall at 859-455-5108).
Those who are not staying at "The Big Quiz House" know that they are welcome to come by any time. Nila, we'd love for you to add a picture of the kitchen at "The Big Quiz House", because that's where we'll spend lots of time hanging out.

On a different topic, I'd like everyone to know that the picture Nila posted of me was taken at the Show Jumping Rally on Mother's Day at DAYBREAK... 6:30 in the MORNING, which is why I am clutching that huge coffee cup!!!
That is the same way I will look at "The Big Quiz House" around 6:30 in the morning!!!
Can't wait to be there. This is going to be a blast!
